Arctic Marine Research and Innovation Opportunities for Future Collaboration

The Arctic region is an integral part of the Earth’s global climate system and where rapid environmental and social changes are already observed. Understanding the dynamics of such change and implications for the resilience of marine and social ecosystems is central to answering important questions about our global environment and sustainable development in the future.

This online event will bring leading UK and Icelandic scientists and other experts together to exchange information about the latest research regarding the Arctic marine environment, highlight past successes, and identify opportunities for future collaboration. The event will be opened by Mr Michael Nevin, Her Majesty´s Ambassador to Iceland, and Mr Einar Gunnarsson, Iceland's Ambassador for Arctic Affairs and Chair of the Senior Arctic Officials.
